The Smell of Old Books, Scientifically Speaking

I don't know about you, but I love the smell of old books. A friend of mine from work sent me this little gem that explains what we're smelling and why. Now, I'm sure I could have paraphrased, but Richard's English accent makes the explanation far more scholarly than mine could ever be. Enjoy!

It's definitely a powerful smell, but I think I'm one of the ones who isn't that fond of the book smell. And though it may be more subtle, my Kindle has a faint fragrance of its own. :D

captchas only stink in the metaphorical sense, though.
